# Incentives with agETH

On depositing ETH, rsETH, ETHx, or stETH in the Gain vault depositors receive agETH.

## Steps to earn rewards <a href="#steps-to-earn-rewards" id="steps-to-earn-rewards"></a>

### If minting on mainnet -

1. User mints agETH on ETH Mainnet
2. The user uses the Squid UI to bridge from agETH to either three chains -> gets agETH.axl
3. The user needs to wrap their agETH.axl on [Kelp’s agETH wrap page](https://kelpdao.xyz/wrap-agETH/) on the same chain
4. The user holds wrapped agETH in the wallet for 90 days or deploys it in any of the Kelp-supported DeFi opportunities for 90 days to be eligible
5. The user gets airdropped rewards after the 90-day period

### If minting on Arbitrum / Linea / Scroll -

1. The user directly mints wrapped agETH on the respective L2
2. The user holds wrapped agETH in their wallet for 90 days or deploys it in any of the Kelp-supported DeFi opportunities for 90 days to be eligible
3. The user gets airdropped rewards after the 90-day period

## AXL Incentives <a href="#axl-incentives" id="axl-incentives"></a>

Kelp has partnered with Axelar as our bridging partner to unlock L2 DeFi and bring additional rewards for the users.

* **Reward**: 50 $AXL per agETH bridged or natively minted to/on L2 chains (Arbitrum/ Scroll / Linea).
* **Eligibility**:
  * Hold in your wallet or use in DeFi on the L2 for 90 days
  * Applicable for the first 6K agETH

## Scroll Incentives <a href="#scroll-incentives" id="scroll-incentives"></a>

Bridging agETH to scroll comes with additional rewards for all Gain depositors

* **Reward**: 20 $USDC per agETH bridged to Scroll (on top of $AXL rewards)
* **Eligibility**:
  * Hold in your wallet or use in DeFi on Scroll for 90 days
  * Applicable for the first 1K agETH

Rewards distribution starts in the first week of January with successive distribution every 15 days

Users will have to hold or use wrapped agETH in DeFi on the respective L2 chain for at least 90 days during the campaign time period to be eligible for rewards.
